Purchased in Lahr, Germany in 1990 for restoration purposes. It has 234,000 original km. The engine and power train was restored by Mercedes mechanics. The interior materials restoration was replaced with new . The windshield and seal , and sunroof is new. New exhaust system. Restoration work completed in 1994, ready for shipment to Nova Scotia in Aug of 1994, where it was put in storage until 2008.
We shipped it to Halifax, to the Mercedes dealer to ready it for the road Feb 2008, at a cost of approx 6.5 K, they installed a new fuel tank, alternator, battery all the fuel sending components, etc. A new warm up regulator shipped from the USA at 1.2K. It is registered and safetied. Never driven in the winter or in the rain, stored inside.
