This is the Last RAT TRICK designed by Ken Wentzell . Over the years he has built numerous hi performance, show worthy vehicles. He was the local pioneer in the pro street trend, most notably building a 6-71 blown big block pro street ‘55 210 two door sedan and a ‘57 pro street big block Corvette. The real RARITY of this car is this. You can drag race this car, Take it to Show and Shines OR you can go for a comfortable back road cruise. Most drag cars are miserable to cruise in as they are rough and bumpy riding. This one is not. With the Custom close ration power steering you have one finger control and the suspension is such that the ride is very comfortable. A wee story… when building the car Kenny and I had some issues. I wanted a cruiser, and he wanted his Pro Street Drag ability along with show quality. I am stubborn, he is GOOD!! He just looked and said.. “Cool.. a new challenge to combine all qualities”.. and that is what he did! Hippo Liner used pics of the Camino to advertise product.. their link below http://www.dominionsureseal.com/applicationdetails.asp?cateid=6 Link to the Classic Chevy Club of Nova Scotia which tells about the Camino and Ken. http://www.classicchevyclub-ns.com/Photos/members_features/kenwentzell/kenwentzell.htm |
