| | | 2009-03-09 - Harvey Station , NB to honour legend Don Messer | | The town of Harvey Station, NB, will be holding a gala event to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the life of Harvey native born Don Messer. Don was one of the most famous fiddlers in Canada. He started fiddling as a young boy in an area called Tweedside which is now part of the Harvey Station area. He spent all his life & made a living playing the fiddle. The celebration will be held from August 1st to August 8th, 2009 including a Show & Shine. Click here for more details. |
