In the fall of 1970, a small group of auto enthusiasts got together to discuss the possibility of forming an antique car organization in the Pictou County area. The Pictou County Antique Car Club came into being as a result of that first meeting. The initial purpose of the Club was to promote the collecting and restoration of the older cars from bygone days. The first Car Show held was about a year or so from the first meeting.
From that humble beginning grew a Club with members ranging from their early 20's to late 80's, and it has now endured for 38 years. Members are from all over Nova Scotia. The current membership is around 90 families. | | Restrictions : | You do not have to own an antique car to become a member of P.C.A.C.C. We have members who are just car enthusiasts and come out to talk old cars and join in the fun. Some of our members have Street Rods and others have Special Interest Cars but all have one thing in common - the car bug!
