Description :	Our non-profit club was formed in 1998 by Sandy Donovan and Pat O'Donnell. In march or 1998, a meeting was held with 11 people in attendance. It was decided there was enough interest to form the club. In just 2 months the organization had grown to include 75 members. The goals of the club are to provide a forum to bring car enthusiasts together and to raise funds for local charities. The River Cruisers also want to provide a family oriented social environment for members. Our club membership year is from april 1st to march 31st, although you can join the club anytime by attending a club meeting which are held on the second sunday of every month at the Newcastle legion, usually held at 7pm.
Restrictions :	It is a car club for owners of classic and antique vehicles which are 20 years or older.
